  • 2010 Performance Profiles publication
    The 2010 Performance Profiles data will be available from Friday 23 July. The Performance Profiles are published annually as a source of information for both potential new trainees and providers of initial teacher training (ITT). This data will allow potential trainees access to information on the universities, colleges and schools that provide ITT, to aid in finding a teacher training placement that meets their requirements.

  • TDA Seminar – Challenging Schools: the fact and fiction.
    On 25 March 2010, the TDA held a flagship seminar at Burlington Danes Academy in London. Key note speakers, case study speakers and the pupils from Burlington Danes itself, provided valuable insight and thoughts on the issues that challenging schools face. Watch the videos and read the discussion forum to find out more!

  • First class career with second class perceptions  
    The Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) released research today to launch a major recruitment drive in the run-up to three national Train to Teach recruitment events across the country. The research shows that the general public and final year students under-estimate the salaries that teachers actually earn and the opportunities they have for career progression.
